About Will Egby

Will Egby is a racing driver and automotive content creator with a background in competitive motorsports.

With experience on track and behind the wheel of a wide range of performance cars, his content combines real driving insight with a cinematic approach to storytelling.

01 // ENTRY POINT

How did you get into racing?

Like many in motorsport, my introduction to cars started early — largely influenced by my father. What began as an interest quickly developed into something more serious.

I followed the traditional route through rental karting into owner-driver karting, competing in British championships before progressing into race car testing and classic car racing.

Today, that foundation continues to shape what I do — from car testing and track days to driver coaching and longer road-based experiences.

02 // FOCUS

What makes your content different?

My content is centred around the driving experience.

Rather than focusing purely on specifications or performance figures, the aim is to capture how a car behaves, responds and communicates from behind the wheel — particularly when driven with intent.

It’s about translating that experience into something visual, engaging, and genuinely useful to enthusiasts.

03 // APPROACH

How do you approach your content and driving?

My background is rooted in motorsport, which naturally shapes how I evaluate cars.

The focus is always on feel — how a car responds at the limit, how it communicates, and how it behaves under real pressure. That perspective comes from time spent on track, where precision and feedback matter.

There are many creators who provide detailed technical knowledge. What I aim to offer my viewers is something different — a clear understanding of how a car actually drives when it’s pushed properly.

04 // DIRECTION

What’s the long-term vision?

The aim is to drive as many cars as possible, in as many places as possible, and document it properly for my audience.

Alongside that, I’ve always enjoyed restoring and upgrading cars. Being a perfectionist means that this sometimes takes longer than it probably should! However, in the future, my obsession with detail may come in handy as my aim is to establish a classic, performance and rare cars workshop, offering services to collectors and fellow enthusiasts.
